The Morningstar SunSaver 10 amp pulse width modulation (PWM) solar charge controller is a great choice for small solar electric systems running 10 amps of solar or less. The SunSaver 10 is a good match for solar modules between 110 to 135 watts. This controller does not have low voltage disconnect.

Notes from the Installation Team
We've installed several of the Morningstar SunSaver solar controllers. All of the solar systems that we've used SunSavers on have been 130 watts or less. The controller is easy to install and the build quality is excellent. The SunSaver must be mounted on a vertical surface. The green charge indicating LED remains on during the day and is easy to see if the controller is installed in a darker area. Each of the terminal connections on the SunSaver are numbered. It is important to follow the numbering sequence during installation. Even though the SunSaver is epoxy encapsulated we recommend installing it in a dry area.

What you need to Acquire
1 Automotive type ATC in-line fuse link and fuse sized for your solar system
4 - 10 Gauge ring terminals for making the solar in and the battery out connections from the SunSaver controller
2 Ring terminals for making battery connections
4 Screws for mounting the controller
